BMW Championship, St Louis - Camilo Villegas waited three years for his first win on the PGA Tour but no-one could have dreamed that it could have been better than it was in St Louis when he took the BMW Championship in a wire-to-wire tournament. With scintillating rounds of 65, 66, 66, and 68 Camilo edged out onslaughts by Dudley Hart, Jim Furyk, and Anthony Kim to secure the $1,2m first prize projecting him from 30th to 11th in the PGA Money List for 2008.

Currently 34th in the world rankings, the BMW Championship win is expected to climb the ranking board into the top 20....watch this space to see what happens when the PGA update the rankings.......
